Star Pawan Kalyan long awaited film “Gabbar Singh 2” is finally going
to kick start in December. This news was confirmed by filmmakers!!!
A close friend and associate of Pawan Kalyan and also former CEO of MAA
TV and later the Head of Broadcasting for South India for Walt Disney,
Sharrath Marar is producing the film. “Gabbar Singh 2” production
revealed a press release saying that the film will start from December
and the heroine is finalized. Producer Sharrath Marar stated "Shooting
will commence in December 2014 with a short schedule and the production
will aim for a May 2015 release".
It is an open secret that many leading ladies in South & North film
industries are considered to make onscreen romance with Power Star in
“Gabbar Singh 2” but they are not materialised. Pawan & producer
Sharrath Marar who is search of introducing new face to industry has
conducted many auditions in all over India, finally after many audition
they finalized a Telugu speaking girl as female lead in this film.
Yes, she is none other than “Alias Janaki” fame Anisha Ambrose who hails
from Vishakhapatnam. She debut into Tollywood industry in 2003 with
“Alias Janaki” film but the film was not succeeded at box office, later
she was acted in a short film “Pawan Kalyan Premalo Padadu” and
currently she is part on one Kannada film which is under pre-production
stage.
Pawan Kalyan has been working on this script much before his political
foray. The project was first announced with Sampath Nandi as the
Director but
as there was a delay in the start of the project due to
politics and other reasons Sampath moved on to produce a film in his own
banner and now to direct another project. Keeping in view the
entertaining character of the film, K.Ravindra (Bobby) has been
finalised as the Director of the film.
Producers clearly stated that “Gabbar Singh 2” is not resemblance of
any. They said, “Gabbar Singh 2 with no resemblance to either Dabangg or
Gabbar Singh, would be a wholesome entertainer and will turn out to be
yet another independent and entertaining film.”
Bramhanandam, Ali, Narra Srinu and others are playing an important
roles. Long time friend of Pawan Kalyan and accomplished Art Director
Anand Sai will contribute to Gabbar Singh 2. Vincent who was also
associated with Gabbar Singh is the Director of Photography for the
film. Devi Sri Prasad will be the Music Director. Rajesh More will be
the Costume Designer. Bhanu More is in-charge of pre-visualisation.
Harish Pai a close friend of Pawan Kalyan and the first Dance
Choreographer from Hyderabad will be the Creative Head for the film. The
writing team is supported by Kishore and others. Gabbar SIngh 2 will be
produced by Pawan Kalyan Creative Works and Northstar Entertainment in
association with Eros International.
