Sameera tied the knot wit h businessman Akshai Varde in January 2014 and the actress has distanced herself from film industry since then. Being her first child, Sameera is being cautious in her activities. "I being careful...am keeping a low-profile," says the actress who is extremely close to her sister Meghna's child. Speaking to the media, Sameera said, “We are expecting our child in early May and God has been very kind to us.  I can’t tell you guys how excited both me Akshai are at the moment. My husband is very caring and that is the reason why i’m able to leave film industry after the marriage. Understanding each other is the key concept for any marriage to succeed and we are happy as we know very well about each other”.
