King Nagarjuna's younger son akhil's debut film will be launching very soon. Many big heads are likely to be associated with this project. Music director Thaman has been roped in as the music scorer of the movie. Veligonda Srinivas has given the story while Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan are penning the script of the movie. VV Vinayak is the director of the movie.
Hero Nithiin's father Sudhakar Reddy will be producing the movie. akhil sported a cameo role in Akkinenis multi-starrer 'Manam', which got blockbuster result at ticket windows. He has also done Titan watches ad recently, which received praises from the critics.

Powerful First Look of 'Akhil' After contemplating various titles for Akhil’s debut film, the unit has decided that there is no better title than Akhil! So they have made it official and released the first look posters of the film Akhil a while ago. Hero Akhil and producer Nithin released two posters from the film through their Twitter accounts. Directed by VV Vinayak this film carries a tagline ‘The Power of Jua’. Jua means Sun in Swahili language said sources. This is a socio fantasy flick and we can see the special care taken in establishing the theme in the first look posters.
