Comedy King Disappoints

The first name that springs to mind when one talks of comedy, then it's Brahmanandam. The moment he comes, people go crazy and if he says anything, people totally go berserk.
After expecting a lot, people were utterly disappointed with the kind of comedy done by Brahmanandam during the ‘Memu Saitam’ show.
All the jokes that Brahmanandam said were stale and have been told by him many times in the past.
In fact, late AVS also performed to such jokes several times in the past. Also, it appeared as if Brahmanandam was not at all involved in the act.

In fact, many top directors planned skits with Brahmanandam. But he could not perform to any as he could not make time for rehearsals prior to the programme.
On the other hand, the entire programme seems to have been planned in a rush. Barring cricket and kabbadi which were entertaining, all other acts were routine.
So, one cannot single out Brahmanandam after all!
