I Don't Like 'Woods': Nagarjuna

I Don't Like 'Woods': Nagarjuna

Of late, Nagarjuna has become rather media savvy and has been making efforts to put across his thoughts through media channels.
The Manmathudu of Telugu industry says he does like Indian film industry being divided into different regions and called Tollywood, Bollywood, Kollywood, Mollywood, etc….
It is widely known fact that the Telugu industry is referred to as Tollywood, Tamil industry as Kollywood, Kannada industry as Sandalwood, Malayalam industry as Mollywood and Hindi industry as Bollywood.
Well, to cut a long story short, Nagarjuna posed a question to Varun Teja on his show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu.
Varun Teja was asked what the Kannada industry was referred to as and he replied Sandalwood. That’s when Nagarjuna took a couple of minutes to express his opinion on the issue and revealed how he did not like the film industries being called all sorts of ‘woods’.
While we can understand his views, for now, looks like the ‘wood’ is here to stay for a long, long time.
