Manchu Lakshmi and Manoj took part in Swachh Bharat Campaign to extend support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for achieving Clean India by 2019.

The two celebs cleaned an area of Film Nagar Basthi along with fans and volunteers. In the end, He nominated Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao, Nani and Allari Naresh to join the movement. "We wouldn't have participated had if Modi has asked us to break the glasses. Everyone is doing their bit just because he came up with a good initiative. I wish everyone does some good work," he told.


In the recent past, Manchu Manoj has been actively participating in the social activities. Soon after the devastation caused by Cyclone Hudhud, He went to Vizag and took part in the relief operations. Most than his films, His helping nature and positive frame of mind is helping him earn more fans off late.
